This is an amazing adventure mixing tropical rainforest at Monkey Island with the culture at an Embera village in Panama
- We pick you up at the hotel or address in Panama City and take you to the Soberania National Park, in the middle of the Panama Canal.
- There, at the edge of the Chagres river, a trip by boat to the Gatun Lake begins, the biggest and most important lake in the Panama Canal, where we will share space with large ships during their transit on the Panama Canal.
- We will take you to Monkey Island to spot monkeys, sloths, iguanas, crocodiles and several other animals living around this beautiful rainforest.
- Then, we will head to a real Embera village at the shore of the Chagres river.
- Once in the village, you will be welcomed by this community and we will have a meeting with the chief or one of the leaders, this will be a special moment discussing about their culture, traditions and everything you want to ask.
- Enjoy walking around the village appreciating their houses, medicinal plants and spoting animals living in that area.
- Later watch a beautiful performance of traditional music and dance by a group of women.
- Finally it is time to go back to the port and enjoy the view of the tropical rainforest in our way back to Panama City.
