Recommendations and what to bring:
- Bring cash in case you want to buy souvenirs or have a temporary tattoo, and for the Embera Community Entry Tax USD $30.00 per person to be paid cash to the guide upon pick up.
- Wear shoes with good grip that you don’t bother if get wet like sport shoes, hiking sandals or water shoes, avoid beach sandals or flip flops because you will be walking on mud, rocks and through water.
- At the end of the trail there is a waterfall where you can swim with clothes or bring swimsuit under your clothes because there is no place to change there. There are proper bathrooms at the village where you can change at the end so bring an extra change of dry and clean clothes for the transfer back to your accommodation.
